Dublin Baseball Academy

Registration for 2024 Dublin Baseball Academy is OPEN for Session 3.

2024 Dublin Baseball Academy Dates:
Session 1 - On Field Clinics: October 6-October 20
Session 2 - Hitting Clinics: November 2-17
Session 3 - Pitching/Catching Clinics: December 1-21

Dublin Baseball Academy is designed to inspire and instruct young athletes with an interest in advancing their baseball knowledge and skills to the next level. Dublin Baseball Academy is open to all baseball players ages 6-14. Each session consists of three 60-minute group lessons.

New for 2024: There are separate clinic sessions for Travel and Recreational Baseball players (Sessions 2 & 3 only). Please register for the session that applies to your child's baseball skill level. Session 1 (On Field Clinics) is for both Travel & Rec players.

Dublin Baseball Academy is designed to inspire and instruct young athletes with an interest in advancing their baseball knowledge and skills to the next level. Dublin Baseball Academy is open to all baseball players ages 6-14. Each session consists of three 60-minute group lessons.

Participants will be taught the fundamental mechanics of baseball. Skills will be emphasized through repetition with quality instruction. All sessions are led by Mannino's Grand Slam USA instructors.

New for 2024: There are separate clinic sessions for Travel and Recreational Baseball players (Sessions 2 & 3 only). Please register for the session that applies to your child's baseball skill level. Session 1 (On Field Clinics) is for both Travel & Rec players.

Note: Session 3 Pitching & Catching clinics are separate and occur at the same time for each age group. Participants will have to choose either pitching or catching.

Session 1: Travel & Rec Players - On Field Clinics: October 6, 13, 20 (all Sundays) at Darree Fields diamonds #11-15
Ages 6-8: 4:00 PM - 5:00 PM
Ages 9-11: 5:00 PM - 6:00 PM
Ages 12-14: 6:00 PM - 7:00 PM
maximum of 45 participants per age group

Session 2: Travel Players - Hitting Clinics: November 3, 10, 17 (all Sundays) at Mannino's Grand Slam USA
Ages 6-8: 1:00 PM - 2:00 PM
Ages 9-11: 2:00 PM - 3:00 PM
Ages 12-14: 3:00 PM - 4:00 PM
maximum of 30 participants per age group​

Session 2 - Rec Players - Hitting Clinics: November 2, 9, 16 (all Saturdays) at Mannino's Grand Slam USA
Ages 6-8: 9:00 AM - 10:00 AM

Session 3: Travel Players - Pitching/Catching Clinics: December 1, 8, 15 (all Sundays) at Mannino's Grand Slam USA

Session 3: Rec Players - Pitching/Catching Clinics: December 7, 14, 21 (all Saturdays) at Mannino's Grand Slam USA

Program Fee: $85 per session OR $200 for all 3 sessions combined (a $55 discount). If all three sessions are purchased for the same participant, DYA will refund $55 after registrations are submitted.

Darree Fields has automated external defibrillators (AEDs) available in case of emergency. AEDs are portable, life-saving devices designed to treat people experiencing sudden cardiac arrest, a medical condition in which the heart stops beating suddenly and unexpectedly.

What to bring:

  • Baseball pants
  • Water bottle with name on it
Session 2 - Hitting Clinics
  • Helmet*
  • Bat*
  • Batting gloves
  • Regular athletic shoes (no cleats)
  • Athletic apparel (shorts/sweats are fine)
  • Water bottle with name on it
    *    If you do not have a helmet or bat, these items can be borrowed.
Session 3 - Pitching Clinics
  • Glove
  • Regular athletic shoes (no cleats)
  • Athletic apparel (shorts/sweats are fine)
  • Water bottle with name on it
Session 3 - Catching Clinics
  • Glove
  • Catcher's gear: helmet, chest protector, shin guards, mitt (bring only if you have it - not a necessity)

Do you reside outside of DYA boundaries?: This program is open to all families who reside within the boundaries of the Dublin City School District or within the City of Dublin. Out of boundary families may participate if there is space available in the program.
