DYA Fall Girls Lacrosse

2023 Fall Girls Lacrosse - Program Information

2023 Fall Girls Lacrosse
Sunday afternoons: August 27-October 8

DYA Fall Girls Lacrosse is a one-day-a-week program that consists of 60 minutes of drills/games (intra-team) – OR – 30 minutes of drills/games + 30-minute scrimmage on Sunday afternoons. The program is perfect for multi-sport athletes who want to keep their skills fresh as well as players new to the sport with minimal commitment.

The DYA Fall Girls Lacrosse program for 1st-6th grade girls consists of 3 divisions. Players must be registered to play with their grade level.

Divisions (2023-2024 school year):
1st/2nd Grade Division
3rd/4th Grade Division
5th/6th Grade Division

2023 Fall Girls Lacrosse Dates: August 27, September 10, September 17, September 24, October 1, and October 8 (all Sundays).

Times:
1st/2nd grade: 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM
3rd/4th grade: 1:00 PM to 2:15 PM
5th/6th grade: 2:15 PM to 3:30 PM

Labor Day Weekend Break: No Fall Lacrosse activities on Sunday, September 3.

Field Location: Commerce Parkway Fields (6670 Commerce Pkwy)

Equipment: Lacrosse balls and goalie equipment are provided by DYA. Players must provide their own stick, goggles and mouth guard.

Program Fee: $30, plus the cost of a jersey, if you need one.

Uniform Information: All players are required to wear the reversible DYA green/white lacrosse jersey. The jersey is the same as prior years and can be purchased during registration. Jersey price is $25.

Uniforms consist of a jersey and skirt/shorts. The uniform is the same as prior years. Uniforms must be purchased for new players and those who have outgrown them.

Dublin/DYA skirt or shorts can be ordered online (link will be posted soon). Players may wear their own black shorts, if necessary.

Coaches Needed: Dublin Youth Athletics is a volunteer organization of parents providing sports programs for kids. If you are able and willing to serve as the head or assistant coach of your child's team, please register online by clicking "Volunteer" on your profile page at DYA.com.
