The non-resident fee of $50 per player is submitted to DYA and paid to the City of Dublin. Use the City of Dublin address checker http://dublinohiousa.gov/dublin-boundary-map to determine if the non-resident fee applies. 2025 City of Dublin Parks & Rec Pricing Updates Memo (PDF)

Jerseys

All players are required to wear the DYA green (home) or gray (away) softball jersey for league play. The jerseys are the same as last year. The cost is $45 to purchase the pair of jerseys. Sizes available: Youth-Small, Youth-Medium, Youth-Large, Adult-Small, Adult-Medium, Adult-Large, Adult-XL, and Adult-XXL.

DYA Softball jerseys were redesigned in Spring 2023. Click HERE to view the new design. This season, players have the option to wear either the older pre-2023 design or the newer design.

Equipment

Batting helmets, catcher's gear (chest protector, shin guards and helmet), infielder face masks, and softballs are provided by DYA. All players will receive a team visor. Some girls prefer to have their own batting helmet and infielder face mask.

Players are required to wear the DYA Softball green (home) or gray (away) game jersey (old or new) and must wear a glove in the field. Softball cleats (no metal cleats) are required for Minor, Major and Senior Leagues. Coach Pitch League participants may play in tennis shoes or cleats. Softball pants (gray, white, or black) are preferred so the girls are able to slide. DYA encourages the sharing of bats to those who may not have one. These items are not provided by DYA and are not included in the registration fee.

Teammate requests (not guaranteed) are printed on the draft lists that the coaches use to draft their team's players. Typically, coaches are able to grant most requests; however, there are no guarantees that teammate requests will be honored by head coaches at the preseason player draft.

Be sure to include any teammate/coach requests on the registration form. To add requests after registering, email office@dya.com.
