DYA FALL BASKETBALL SKILLS SESSIONS

Registration for 2025 DYA Fall Basketball Skills Sessions is now OPEN.

DYA Fall Basketball Skill Session is a once-a-week program for 3rd-6th grade boys & girls on Sunday afternoons focusing on skill development and basketball knowledge. These sessions are perfect to prepare and freshen skills before basketball season begins. There is a maximum of 45 players per division per session.

Session 1: September 7-21
Session 2: September 28-October 12

3rd-6th Grade Boys & Girls

DYA Fall Basketball Skills Sessions is a one-day-a-week program on Sunday afternoons for 3rd-6th grade boys & girls focusing on skill development and basketball knowledge. These sessions are perfect to prepare and freshen skills before basketball season begins.

All sessions will be coached by Just Hoops coach Nate Axelrod with DYA volunteer coach support.

Session 1

September 7, September 14, September 21 (all Sundays)

3rd/4th Grade: 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM
5th/6th Grade: 2:30 PM to 3:30 PM

Session 2

September 28, October 5, October 12 (all Sundays)

3rd/4th Grade: 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM
5th/6th Grade: 2:30 PM to 3:30 PM

Session 1 & Session 2 will be unique and build upon the previous sessions; however Session 1 is not a prerequisite to attend Session 2.

Location: Karrer Middle School gymnasium (7245 Tullymore Dr)

3rd/4th Grade will focus basketball fundamentals including passing, dribbling and shooting.
5th/6th Grade will focus on core development around ball handling, attacking, finishing and scoring with 3-on-3 live play.

Equipment

Players must provide their own 28.5'' basketball (size 6).

Program Fee:
Fall Session 1: $50
Fall Session 2: $50

Do you reside outside of DYA boundaries?: This program is open to all families who reside within the boundaries of the Dublin City School District or within the City of Dublin. Out of boundary families may participate if there is space available in the program.
