Rec Baseball & Rec Softball:
For games 1:30 PM AND EARLIER:
All games at Avery Park with start times of 1:30 PM AND EARLIER are CANCELLED due to standing water and saturated fields.
For games 1:45 PM AND LATER:
At Avery #7, all Class A Coach Pitch Baseball (1st/2nd Grade) games originally scheduled at Avery #7 are moved to Avery #5.
At Avery #5, all Class AA Baseball (3rd/4th Grade) & Class AAA Baseball (5th/6th Grade) games originally scheduled at Avery #5 are moved to Avery #7.
At Avery #3, the infield is drying but may not be safe to play by game time at 2:15 PM. Coaches - please make a “game time decision”. If the field is unplayable, cancel the game. The 4:00 PM & 5:45 PM games are on as scheduled.
At Avery #4, Avery #6 and Avery #7, the infields are drying but may not be safe to play by game time at 2:45 PM. Coaches - please make a “game time decision”. If the field is unplayable, cancel the game. The 5:00 PM & 7:15 PM games are on as scheduled.
All Coach Pitch games at Avery #1, Avery #2 and Avery #5 and Avery #9, may need to be played in the outfield grass due to wet infields. If there is standing water, feet sink or tracks are made, stay off the infield and play in the outfield grass.
The Coach Pitch game at Avery #8 at 2:30 PM is on - this game is to be played in the outfield grass. The 5:00 PM & 7:30 PM games are on as scheduled.
At Avery #9, the 5:00 PM & 7:15 PM games are cancelled due to standing water on the infield.
Picture Day for the teams rained out today has been postponed (makeup date to be determined). Picture Day for teams still playing today will be held as planned.
